Keith Bolus was born in Charleston, South Carolina on December 10, 1958. He graduated from James Island High School in 1977, and was vice-president of the Student Body. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston in 1981, and received his Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) in 1984, from the University of South Carolina. He graduated from the South Carolina School of Law in 1986.
Mr. Bolus was Assistant Solicitor for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Charleston, South Carolina from 1988 to 1991. He was also City Prosecutor for the Municipal Court of Hanahan from 1992 to 2003. He is a member of the Charleston Count Bar Association. Mr. Bolus was the attorney for the Department of Social Services, prosecuting child abuse cases. His practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death, criminal defense, including DUI and all drug offenses, family law, workers’ compensation, including on the job injuries.
He is married with three children and a grandchild, and has been a youth coach in football, basketball, and baseball for over 20 years.
